Abstract

The application of organic fertilizer in oil palm plantations can gradually improve soil fertility and yield. Guano organic fertilizer is derived from the droppings of bats or seabirds and contains essential macronutrients such as N, P, and K in natural proportions, which is why it is widely used as a source of organic nutrients in crop cultivation. This study was conducted at the estate of PT. Sawitmas Nugraha Perdana, located in Sampit, East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Both primary and secondary data were collected from 2020 to 2024, with the secondary data consisting of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production records. The correlation analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between guano fertilizer application and oil palm production, indicating that oil palm production tends to increase with the application of guano fertilizer.
