Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture and motivation on job satisfaction at the Class I TPI Padang Immigration Office work unit in West Sumatra. The research employed a quantitative associative approach using a survey technique through questionnaires. The research sample consisted of 107 employees selected using a saturated sampling (census) technique. Data were analyzed using SPSS, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that all instrument items were valid and reliable. The classical assumption tests indicate that the data are normally distributed, free from multicollinearity, and free from heteroscedasticity. The regression analysis shows that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t = 3.774 > t table = 1.983; sig. = 0.000), motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t = 9.287 > t table = 1.983; sig. = 0.000), and organizational culture and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on job satisfaction (F = 260.0 > F table = 3.09; sig. = 0.000), contributing 83.3% (R² = 0.833), while the remaining 16.7% is influenced by other variables outside this study. Motivation shows a more dominant influence than organizational culture on employee job satisfaction.
