Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of work discipline, compensation, and work motivation on employee work productivity at PT Belawan New Container Terminal. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population of this study consisted of all permanent employees of PT Belawan New Container Terminal, totaling 210 employees. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 68 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the criteria that respondents were permanent employees, had worked for at least one year, and did not hold managerial positions. Primary data were obtained by distributing closed ended questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis techniques included data quality testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination analysis using SPSS. The results showed that work discipline had a positive and significant effect on work productivity, with a regression coefficient of 0.377, a t statistic of 3.441, and a significance value of 0.001. Compensation had a positive and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.279, a t statistic of 2.308, and a significance value of 0.024. Work motivation also had a positive and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.254, a t statistic of 2.854, and a significance value of 0.006. Simultaneously, work discipline, compensation, and work motivation had a significant effect on work productivity, with an F statistic of 88.340 and a significance value of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.796 indicated that 79.6% of work productivity could be explained by the three variables.
