Acceleration Decrease Stunting in Medan City

Abstract

This Study analyze influence Penta Helix to BKKBN Province Sumatra North in acceleration stunting reduction in Medan City. This quantitative study involved 103 BKKBN employees with data analyzed using SmartPLS SEM. The results show that the role of government, academics, business people, community society, and social media have a direct positive and significant influence on the performance of BKKBN and acceleration of stunting reduction. Indirectly, only the role of government and social media shows significant influence on performance through stunting acceleration as an intervening variable. This study emphasized the importance of the role of government and social media in supporting the performance of BKKBN, while the role academics, business people, and communities need to be further optimized. These findings provide input for BKKBN in developing a Penta Helix-based strategy to increase the effectiveness of the program to accelerate the reduction of stunting.
