Abstract

This study aims to examine the Analysis of Transportation Infrastructure Development to Support Economic Growth in the Batu Bara Regency Area. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are the means used to obtain the data and information needed to achieve research objectives. In this case, the researcher carried out several data analysis techniques, namely as follows: Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Verification. The results of the research The development of transportation infrastructure in Batu Bara Regency is the key to encouraging regional economic growth. The conclusions of this development can include several main points: Improved Connectivity: Good transportation infrastructure will improve connectivity between regions, facilitate the flow of goods and services, and increase accessibility for the community. Good roads, railways, and efficient port facilities will accelerate the distribution of products, especially from strategic sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, and the processing industry. Investment Attractiveness: Adequate infrastructure will be an attraction for investors. Investors tend to be more interested in areas that have good transportation infrastructure because it facilitates logistics and business operations. This can increase labor absorption and open up new jobs.
